M1.1 Power Amplifier
Power. Precision. Musicality.

The M1.1 Power Amplifier builds on the legacy of CH Precision’s original M1, introducing circuit refinements, enhanced power management, and software-driven control that elevate its performance to new heights of musical transparency, dynamic authority, and stability under any loudspeaker load. Its fully discrete, complementary architecture with ExactBias™ real‑time bias control ensures vanishing distortion and effortless resolution, while its massive, ultra‑stable power supply and mechanically inert chassis provide the foundation for unshakable performance.
Equally impressive is the M1.1’s ability to evolve with your system. Its modular, software‑driven topology allows the amplifier to operate as a stereo amplifier, a high‑current mono‑bloc, a high‑power bridged mono‑bloc, or in vertical bi‑amp mode. In its mono and bi‑amp configurations, the M1.1 offers independent control of gain and global feedback per channel, enabling precise tuning for speaker load, low‑frequency damping, and system gain. This flexibility ensures that the M1.1 can adapt seamlessly to system changes—growing from stereo to mono or bi‑amp configurations—while preserving the reference‑grade performance that defines CH Precision.

The Art of Effortless Power
At the heart of the M1.1 Power Amplifier is an architecture conceived to deliver absolute authority without sacrificing musical finesse. Its foundation is a massive, ultra-low-noise linear power supply, anchored by an oversized high-current transformer and proprietary capacitors engineered for extreme time-domain accuracy. This immense energy reserve ensures that the M1.1 responds instantly to the most demanding musical passages, maintaining composure and control even under punishing dynamic swings. Mechanical grounding and ultra-short, optimized signal paths further protect the signal from noise and vibration, preserving the amplifier’s purity from input to output.
The fully discrete, complementary output stage reflects CH Precision’s flagship approach to wide‑bandwidth, high‑slew‑rate design. Operated in Class AB and carefully biased for exceptional linearity, the M1.1 delivers staggering current drive with vanishingly low distortion and noise. Yet its design is about more than sheer power: instantaneous current delivery combines with speed and agility, allowing the amplifier to reveal micro‑level textures, lifelike transients, and the harmonic richness that makes music feel three‑dimensional and alive. In the M1.1, power serves the music, rendering dynamic swings with unshakable authority while letting delicate details bloom effortlessly.
Like every CH Precision amplifier, the M1.1 offers adjustable local and global feedback, allowing the listener to fine‑tune the damping factor to match their loudspeakers and acoustic environment. Feedback is adjustable in 10% increments, shaping low‑frequency control, transient behavior, and overall system voicing for perfect synergy. In stereo mode, feedback and input sensitivity remain identical for both channels, while in monobloc or bi‑amp configurations, channels can be optimized independently—ideal for tailoring differential damping between, for example, a passive subwoofer and a main loudspeaker. This flexibility transforms the M1.1 from a powerhouse into a precision instrument, capable of integrating seamlessly into the most ambitious high‑end systems.
ExactBias™: Precision Under All Conditions
All amplifier designers recognise the importance of correct bias current—the point at which linearity is preserved and distortion minimised. The M1.1 Power Amplifier advances this principle through ExactBias™, CH Precision’s proprietary dual-stage bias control system. Conventional schemes rely on delayed readings taken from the heatsink—a large, slow-moving thermal mass that reacts seconds after the output devices have already changed temperature. The result is bias correction that arrives too late, introducing low-frequency modulation and instability under dynamic load.
ExactBias™ resolves this at the source. Each five-pin output device incorporates an integrated temperature sensor on the same silicon substrate, providing a real-time measurement of junction temperature. A galvanically isolated control circuit continuously monitors both long-term thermal drift and rapid, signal-induced fluctuations, adjusting bias dynamically to maintain perfect equilibrium. The output stage thus remains linear, stable, and time-coherent, even under sustained power into complex loudspeakers.
The result is effortless transient speed, harmonic richness, and commanding control. ExactBias™ embodies CH Precision’s engineering philosophy: elegant, intelligent design serving the purest expression of musical truth.

Crafted for Connection
The M1.1 is built on the belief that the most compelling listening experiences come from preserving the full emotional and temporal integrity of the original performance. It’s not just about power or precision—though it delivers both in abundance—but about the realism that emerges when every element of design is aligned in service of the music.
That alignment begins with CH Precision’s engineering philosophy. Nearly half the company’s employees are engineers—experts in digital and analog circuit design, software development, and mechanical architecture. Every aspect of the M1.1, from signal processing to user interface, is designed and coded in-house. There are no off-the-shelf modules or outsourced firmware. Final assembly, testing, and calibration are also performed under the same roof in Switzerland, ensuring continuity, control, and consistency from concept to completion.
The result is more than just engineering excellence—it’s an amplifier that disappears, leaving behind only the shape, energy, and expressive intent of real music, unfolding naturally before the listener.
